Our February 9, 2008 gathering/meeting was held at Cattleman's Steak house in the OKC stockyard. We had a great meal and enjoyed each others company. George & Linda Hall had set up the gathering and we were even able to use the upper floor for our meeting.

President: Dennis Maxwell called the meeting to order. Dennis asked Karen to read a letter from the Freedom Call Foundation - we donated to them for Christmas and they sent us a thank you card. Dennis also mentioned that a couple of members did not pay their 2008 dues, (Barry and Doyle) Barry did send his in just prior to the mailing of this letter. Doyle is still in south Texas.

Treasurer: Karen Thrailkill provided the club an updated treasurer's report with a balance of $1486.51. Karen did mention that she wrote a check to Canton for the camp out, $900.00.

Secretary: Barry Barratiere did not report the Birthdays for February, but here they are:

Wagon Master: Ron Griffin asked that if you have not signed up to Host for a campout this year, please help. We need help for October. Ron mentioned that the campout for Oct would have to be switched because of the lack of reservations at State parks. A motion was made and passed that we switch from Texoma to Red River Ranch in Thackerville for Oct 8-11. Ron was calling to set it up. Ron mentioned the remodeling of the Thunderbird Park by Norman. Gene Thrailkill stated he would go by and let us know.

Old Business: Discussion about Christmas Dinner and how dinner was to be handled. Talked about going to the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Inez Tucker had talked to her friends and they were please with the service. A motion was made and passed that we have our Christmas Dinner at the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Inez was going to set it up for December 13th and time to be confirmed. The cost was under $11.00 per person. Inez will follow up and inform the club next month.

New Business: Barry discussed the box of old pictures and albums we have at his home. After some discussion it was decided to just leave the box there until the December Camp out.

Chaplin Report: Dennis provided us with the latest on health and prayer request for our club members: Fink's in Florida - Charlene came down with some illness that required her to go the hospital daily for treatment. Rhonda Clayton and her up-coming surgery. We understand Ken Hardy is still in the hospital. Zane led us in prayers for all our friends and for their speedy recovery.
