July 2007 Newsletter
We had eleven rigs attending our campout in
Guthrie this month. The weather was not very cooperative, but we all got
there in spite of the floods. Those attending were the Barratieres,
Cheathams, Claytons, Griffins and granddaughter, Andrea, Harrisons,
Johnsons, Marshes, Maxwells, Doyle Rowe, Thrailkills and Tuckers. The men
golfed, hit the local flea markets, the Boat and RV Show in OKC., and the
ladies checked out various local shops and had lunch at the Tea Room. Gene
and Karen's trailer had a broken spring but they were able to get it
repaired at the park by a local facility. We had dinner Friday night at the
Bone Yard Bar-B-Q Restaurant. Saturday night our hosts, the Barratieres and
Marshes, grilled chicken breast and Italian sausages and our ladies made the
side dishes and lots of desserts. We all enjoyed the wonderful home made
peach and vanilla ice cream, compliment of Dennis and Carolyn. Erby gave the
Sunday morning devotional on Heaven and how we all hope to join our loved
ones there. The way is by accepting JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Savior. Our
thanks to the Hosts, Barratieres and Marshes - Good Job!
